Food Fusion won the Milford Mercury restaurant of the year 2006 award, as voted for by our readers, by a landslide.
Owners of Food Fusion, Andrew and Lucy Brown, are delighted to
have won the award so soon after opening the restaurant. "We never expected to win this award, especially after just three
months of being open, winning this award is just absolutely
brilliant and we would like to thank all our customers for voting for us."
After growing up in Milford, Lucy knew the new development in the
town's marina would be the perfect place to set up an independent
and original restaurant.
Apart from a recent romantic break to St Lucia, where the couple
were married on September 11th, the restaurant is open six days a
week, from 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 11pm.
Food Fusion will even be open on Christmas Day for pre-arranged
bookings and they have already devised a special four-course menu
for New Year's Eve.
Lucy said: "We based our menu on our own tastes and what we wanted to see made available in the county. In Pembrokeshire, a lot of restaurants try to specialise but we
try to give a really broad range and have something on our menu
for everyone. Because we buy everything daily, we have hardly any wastage,
except what is left on people's plates, so we can keep our menu
prices very low."
A wide selection of food is on offer including Steaks, Mexican, Italian, Indian, Oriental, Chicken, Fish, Vegetarian, Traditional & more! There is also a vast selection of Mexican food available on the takeaway menu.
